Celing Tins

I had an an old ceiling tin that was two squares instead of just one and I tin snipped out the centers on each side. I then got a piece of balsa wood the same size as the tin and created a chalkboard. It's very pretty. You could also have one side be a cork board.Image

Ceiling Tins

I love the look of the old tin with the rust showing. I was wondering what it would look like also with a black and white photo, printed off on light weight paper and decoupaged in the center of the tin where you have the wood. If the old paint and rust would still bleed through, what a cool frame.
