CD cases

Postby Luddy on Wed Jul 25, 2007 10:46 am

My CD cases always bust and I never end up using the good ones because my CD's always end up in my car. Any ideas to what could be made out of old jewel cases?

Hi Luddy! I remember an awesome idea from a guy on the HGTV boards..

Here's his public tutorial

Finally, here's a really simple (no pun intended) fun project!

AWESOME IDEAS! I can't wait to try them out!! I love the todemic pole. It'd be cool if I could figure out a way to make it a lamp. It probably would be pretty easy--stick a couple long bulbs in it! Gosh, I'm so excited to get started!

Thanks again!

Luddy!

If you glue a plywood square to the top and bottom of the "pole", you may can drill a hole through the two and insert a pole to run your wires from a light kit.

To reinforce the base (totemic pole) I would glue 1x1 in the 4 inside corners

I hope this makes sense...
